It is for now available only on Android — so iOS and Windows mobile users are left out. What is Bhim App? : The mobile payment app is a recent online application developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) for transferring cash from one person to another (Just like Paytm). This online app is part of Unified Payment Interface (UPI).

Any person who has bank account with any 32 naks (Under UPI) can use this app. The app is used to make and receive payments by a bank account holder. You can also send money money even to users who are not using this app and to accounts in banks that are not on UPI. The app is currently available in English and Hindi on Android. The iOS version of this app is expected soon.

    To use BHIM app, firstly you need to register their bank account with the app.
    Then you need to set a UPI PIN for the account and for further payment you need to use their mobile number as payment address. You have another option that is to create a custom payment address.
    This online app will work all over India across all banks. If you have multiple accounts in different banks then you need not to use separate apps.
    BHIM app can be used on any smartphone even if you are not having the internet connection.
